Our contributor Luciana Marcu from Romania had these fun facts about Romanian Mioritic Sheepdogs to share!"The Mioritic's fur smells like wool when it's wet. It smells like wool when it's dry, too, but not that clear. This is because Mioritics have a history of hundreds of years spent among sheep and goats, and this helps the Mioritic trick the predators. So, the Mioritic is a dog in sheep's clothing, making it hard for the wolves and bears to see the difference between dogs and sheep."
Thank you Luciana!
